In 2007 the Hants and Dorset Amateur Rowing Association hosted what is generally regarded as one of the fairest and most successful South Coast Rowing Championship Regatta’s at the 2012 Olympic venue of Dorney Lake near Eton. In 2011 it is once again the Associations responsibility to host the event and the decision has been taken to return to Dorney providing the competitors with the opportunity experience this international standard venue and to race on the Olympic course less than a year before the Olympic Regatta takes place.
It is estimated that the Regatta will cost around £20,000 to stage and while much of the funding is in place we do hope to raise additional funding through event sponsorship, program advertising and trade stands as we did in 2007.
We are hoping that your company, with its close links to our sport, would be prepared to consider this opportunity to support the regatta.
For just £100 we are able to offer one of three options:
Event sponsorship – with accreditation in official programme and acknowledgment during the race commentary over the PA system and at the prize giving.
A ¼ page advertisement in the A4 size Official Souvenir programme which will be issued given to all competing Clubs and race officials, distributed free of charge to those parking on site and sold during the regatta.
Marquee Pitch/trade stand for retailers on site near to the Clubhouse, boat park and spectator area.
We are also prepared to offer a 25% discount if you take up more than one of these options - so two of the above for £150 and all three for £225.
