We are a small community club with 180 members with members from across our local community. Our club has grown three fold in the last five years and we have expanded from our roots of coastal racing to offer all types of rowing to our local community. We were awarded British Rowing Club of the year in 2025 in recognition of our extraordinary growth and inclusive approach.
Our members include 70 junior rowers, 60 adult recreational rowers and 50 adult race members. Our youngest member is 13 and our oldest in their 80s. We pride ourselves on being able to offer a wide variety of rowing options to members including coastal rowing, river rowing, beach sprints and indoor rowing and are also a hub for other complementary health and wellbeing activities including pilates and Row-Fit. We welcome everyone regardless of their rowing ambitions.
