Southampton Amateur Rowing Club

We are a local Competing Rowing Club operating in Woolston, Southampton that was
established in 1945. From our establishment we have grown into a vibrant and fun-loving
rowing club with lots of members enjoying rowing and having a laugh in our club hall and bar.

When we are not in the bar or in our own fully equipped gym with weight frames and rowing machines etc., we are on the water with our fleet of boats catering and training for all varieties of statues and categories that rowing can provide, having access to a public slip and beach directly outside the club very convenient for all to access the river Itchen for said activities, along with training our crews for the next racing season and even competing across the country on many different river head events.
