Worthing Rowing Club has been rowing on the south coast since 1880. The club boasts a membership of over a hundred, split between adults, juniors, and social members.
Members have opportunities to row recreationally or competitively, and we have regular social events in our clubhouse which includes a private members bar.
We periodically run learn-to-row programmes to teach absolute beginners how to row.
The club predominantly races in two coastal leagues – CARA (Sussex and Kent) and HDARA (Hampshire and Dorset).
In addition, our members are increasingly racing other coastal formats such as beach sprints, alongside river races across the country.
We train both on the sea at Worthing, and on the River Adur in Shoreham-by-sea.
